My love for nutrition began in college, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. I enjoyed the science, but I also found myself constantly wanting to learn more: reading, researching, and looking beyond the traditional, westernized medical model for answers that felt more complete.

Hi! I'm Jamie

My husband, Derrik, works in full-time ministry with The Navigators, and together we’ve been married for 18 years and homeschool our six children. Between ministry, motherhood, and business, faith is woven into every part of our family life. When I’m not working with clients, I love cooking and developing new recipes, lifting weights, reading the latest health research, and spending time outdoors here in beautiful Colorado.

Nutritional therapy is a holistic and individualized approach to health that uses food, lifestyle, and education to support the body’s natural ability to heal and thrive. Instead of masking symptoms, nutritional therapy looks deeper to uncover and address the root causes of imbalance.

At its core are the Five Foundations of Health:
  1. Nutrient-Dense Diet – Supplying the body with real, whole, nutrient-rich foods that provide the building blocks for repair, energy, and vitality.
  2. Digestion – Ensuring the body can properly break down and absorb nutrients so that every system has what it needs to function well.
  3. Blood Sugar Regulation – Maintaining stable energy and mood by balancing fuel sources, preventing the highs and crashes that stress the body.
  4. Sleep – Supporting deep, restorative rest so the body can recover, repair, and function optimally.
  5. Stress Management – Recognizing the impact of stress on every system and implementing strategies to restore balance and resilience.

Bioindividuality
A key principle of nutritional therapy is bioindividuality: the understanding that every person is unique. What works for one individual may not work for another. Genetics, environment, lifestyle, and history all shape a person’s needs. Nutritional therapy respects these differences, tailoring support so that each client receives care designed specifically for their body and journey.
